Platinum Jubilee decorations galore for the Queen across Burton

The city looks very patriotic as you pull out all the stops and go crazy red, white and blue

The country is a sea of red, white and blue as people gather to celebrate the Queen’s 70 years on the throne. Across Burton and South Derbyshire, the bunting is well and truly out, for those who were able to get a hold of it, as we celebrate this milestone.

Platinum Jubilee parties and events are set to take place across the region as people celebrate the four-day bank holiday weekend – and fingers are crossed for good British weather. So keep your fingers crossed! However, we are British after all and we don’t let a little rain stop us from having a great time.

We wandered around Burton to see some of the amazing decorations in the homes, shops, pubs, care homes and businesses that rolled out the bunting and went Jubilee crazy. These are some of the properties that at least get our royal seal of approval.
